A registered official estate agent has to legally adhere to the law of the land. It is important to buy through an approved, recognised estate agent. We at Greek Key Properties™ have the added advantage of being based here on the island of Alonissos all year round.
Many sellers have now recognised the value of selling through us, knowing that buyers are more likely to go with a 'local' agent rather than a 'multi' agent, generic real estate site or buy privately.
Buyers have the confidence that the property is represented accurately and truthfully with the knowledge that the sale will be ‘managed’ from start to completion. Our sales chasing is second to none, overseeing the whole buying and selling process. We are privileged to be able to communicate with both sides, exchanging communications with the buyers and sellers and their respective solicitors, if appointed (buyers can purchase a property without one). Private sellers are not able to do this and therefore, the odds of keeping a sale alive is restricted and they run a greater risk of a ‘fall through’ and the sale/purchase is terminated. This could be costly both in time and financially.
If you see a private 'for sale' sign for a property, before you contact the seller, tell us about the property, we are willing to approach them on your behalf to get the sale instruction and take care of the sale. Once we have done so, you will then be able to view the property through us, knowing that you will be covered and protected by laws, code of conduct and procedures that going through a local agent provides.
